Central municipal election board
The task of the Central Election Board is to conduct elections in the municipality, as prescribed in the Election Act. The Central Election Board of the municipality shall consist of a chairman, a vice-chairman and three other members, as well as the necessary number of alternate members, which must, however, be at least five. Alternate members shall be appointed in the order in which they replace the members. Both members and alternate members shall, as far as possible, represent the voter groups in the municipality that nominated candidates in the previous municipal elections.

Committee on education
The Education Committee decides on the organization of education, early childhood education and day care services and on tasks that are assigned to the municipality by law/decree, except for the closure of schools, which is decided by the municipal council. The Education Committee is chaired by the Director of Education and, if the Director is unable or prevented from acting, by a deputy decided by the committee.

Building Board
The task of the Building Board is to organize building supervision services. The Building Board is the building supervision authority referred to in Section 21 of the Land Use and Building Act in the municipality of Ii. The matters are presented to the Building Board by the building inspector and, if the building inspector is disqualified or prevented from acting, by a person decided by the board.

City audit committee
The task of the Audit Board is to organize the audit of the municipality's administration and finances. The Audit Board must prepare the matters concerning the audit of administration and finances to be decided by the council and assess whether the operational and financial objectives set by the council have been achieved in the municipality and the municipal group. The Audit Board must coordinate the audit of the municipality and its subsidiaries. The Board has a chairman and vice-chairman and 4 other members. Each member has a personal deputy. The chairman and vice-chairman are authorized.

Community Board
The Community Committee is responsible for organizing the municipality's community services. The Community Committee decides, among other things, on the sale of plots in the local plan area in accordance with the criteria decided by the municipal board, on the tariffs for its services; on the maintenance and development of the address system in sparsely populated areas, and on other matters within its scope of activity, except for those matters that have been left to the council or the municipal board by decision of the council or on the basis of law. The rapporteur of the Community Committee is the community director, and if he or she is disqualified or prevented from acting, the rapporteur is a deputy appointed by the committee.
