Sustainability

Responsibility is a key part of sustainable well-being. It helps us make better decisions and choices. Responsibility produces positive consequences and promotes our own well-being, the well-being of others, and the environment.

In Ii, we want to promote equal opportunities for children and young people in Ii to live a good life now and in the future. This is achieved by increasing and establishing shared responsibility for their well-being, learning and growth. The focus is on the children and young people themselves, their guardians and the adults working in early childhood education and school. It is important to strengthen the idea of responsibility: everyone has a responsibility and everyone bears their own responsibility. One must understand one's own responsibility and commit to it. Responsibility must also be learned and taught.

The links below will allow you to learn about the kind of work that has already been done to strengthen shared responsibility in educational services.

Responsibility creates good – it's about building and being built for the future of children and young people!
