The museum hall houses a fishing and agricultural exhibition and the barn houses a floating exhibition renovated in 2021.

In the museum café Huilingi building, which originally served as a floating accommodation building, you can explore the interiors of a floating cabin and an Old Hamina-themed room. A toy boat, a dam boat and a church boat can be found in the museum's courtyard.

The popular ski jumping track located in the courtyard of the local history museum is freely available to everyone during the museum's opening hours.

In the summer, the museum organizes events, such as Museum Day during Ii Homeland Week in July. The museum area has a café-restaurant operating in the old Huilinki accommodation building for rafting workers.
