Municipal elections

The municipal council is elected every four years. There are 31 councilors in Ii. See the contact information for the Ii council 2025-2029

Participate in the preparation of matters

Ii Village Advisory Board
The municipality and the village associations of Iilä jointly established the village advisory board at the beginning of 2014. The purpose of the advisory board is to discuss current issues, receive training, share experiences, take initiatives and deepen cooperation between different village and resident associations.

Iin Youth Council
The Youth Council is a politically non-aligned group of young people from Iilä, which promotes the interests of the region's young people in the municipality.

Iin Council for the Elderly and Disabled
The task is to monitor decision-making regarding the elderly and disabled, their livelihood and living conditions, and to take initiatives in matters affecting them.

Iin Sports Advisory Board
The task is to discuss and develop cooperation between sports clubs and the municipality. The Sports Advisory Board includes all active sports clubs in Ii, the municipality's technical services sports venue manager, and the Ii Institute leisure manager.
