You can use the customer terminal at the service point to access Kela services electronically. You can also receive guidance and advice on electronic services if necessary. You can apply for almost all Kela benefits electronically, make change notifications and stop paying benefits. You can also monitor whether your application has been resolved, how much benefit is being paid and when the benefit payment date is. For these, you will need an identification tool, e.g. bank IDs or a mobile certificate.

The telephone service provides information on the processing stage of your benefit application and allows you to add information related to your application. You can also get general information about Kela's benefits. Most Kela matters can be handled by phone. The telephone service can be used to ask for advice, apply for benefits and get help with online services. Kela's telephone service is open every weekday from 9 am to 16 pm. The service numbers can be found at: kela.fi/servicenumbers

In remote service, the customer has a video and audio connection to a Kela service specialist using the computer at the service point.
The remote service provides personal advice and allows you to handle the same matters as at a Kela service point, so the remote service is equivalent to doing business at a Kela office. You will need an ID card with you for the remote service.
